Stocko Accessibility Statement

Our statement of commitment

Our Commitement to Accessibility

Stocko is committed to making our platform accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We believe that technology should support businesses and communities inclusively, regardless of ability or access needs.

As a multi-platform ecosystem, including the Stocko POS mobile application, online catalogue, dashboard, and related web services, we aim to design and build experiences that are clear, navigable, and functional across a wide range of devices and interaction methods.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As our products evolve, we continue working to improve usability, clarity, and inclusive design practices across our applications. We recognize that accessibility is not a one-time effort but a continuous responsibility as we expand features, integrate services, and serve merchants and customers across different regions.

We are committed to identifying areas for improvement and progressively enhancing accessibility throughout the Stocko platform.

Scope of This Statement

This Accessibility Statement applies to the Stocko platform and its primary user interfaces, including:

  • The Stocko POS application
  • The Stocko online catalogue
  • Stocko themes
  • The Stocko dashboard
  • The Stocko official website
  • Payment and checkout interfaces delivered within Stocko-controlled environments

This statement covers accessibility considerations within user interfaces that are designed, developed, and maintained by Stocko.

Stocko integrates with various third-party services and providers. While we aim to select and work with partners that value inclusive design, accessibility of third-party services may vary and is outside of our direct control.

Current Accessibility Practises

Stocko incorporates accessibility considerations into product design and development where reasonably possible within our current stage of growth.

Across our web platforms, we strive to use semantic HTML structures, properly labeled form fields, and responsive layouts to support clarity and usability across different devices and screen sizes.

Where applicable, we aim to:

  • Provide descriptive labels for interactive form elements
  • Maintain readable text sizing and scalable layouts
  • Support basic keyboard navigation for certain interactive components
  • Design touch targets in our mobile application with usability in mind
  • Monitor accessibility indicators through available testing tools for web interfaces

We recognize that accessibility implementation may not yet be fully comprehensive across all components. Some advanced accessibility behaviors such as complete keyboard coverage, focus management within modal interfaces, or formal screen reader validation, are areas we continue to evaluate and improve.

Accessibility is being progressively integrated into our development process as the platform evolves.

Ongoing Improvements

Stocko views accessibility as a continuous and evolving responsibility. As we expand our platform and introduce new features across mobile and web applications, we are working to strengthen accessibility considerations within our design and development processes.

Planned and ongoing efforts include:

  • Improving keyboard accessibility across interactive components
  • Reviewing and refining focus behavior within modal and layered interfaces
  • Evaluating color contrast and visual clarity across user interfaces
  • Exploring structured accessibility testing practices for both web and mobile applications
  • Incorporating accessibility awareness into future product updates and feature releases

As Stocko grows across new markets and user groups, accessibility will remain a key consideration in shaping product enhancements and user experience decisions.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

Stocko integrates with various third-party services to support payments, communications, mapping, analytics, and other platform functionality. These services may include embedded components, external interfaces, or software development kits (SDKs) provided by external vendors.

While we aim to work with partners that prioritize usability and inclusive design, accessibility practices of third-party services may differ from our own and are outside of Stocko's direct control.

We encourage users who experience accessibility challenges related to third-party integrations to notify us. Where feasible, we will work with providers to communicate feedback and seek improvements.
